The Wall
Well, Its almost the end of the year, and it has taken me until now to finish this damn painting. I posted the pencil sketch of it in October. Thats what happens when you sit down, paint for 20 minutes, then decide you'd rather watch 'The Office'.

Fun Wall
It gives you that soft, warm feeling doesnt it? This was a quick sketch option I did for a friend that wanted a "bio-mechanical" tattoo on his back. After saying "do whatever", he later told me, "Oh, I didnt want skulls". Silly man. I like this sketch alot so I'm gonna put it in photoshop and paint it up all evil-like. Hopefully it wont take me a month and a half to post the painted version.

It's just an eye...
I was lookin through my old files I had on a drive from my laptop that fried out last spring and I found this little sketch of what appears to be an eye of some sort. When I saw it I was like, "maybe I should throw this up on my blog". The next thought in my head was "this is dumb, it's just an eye". For some reason though, I kinda like it.
One of these days I will post a drawing that is actually of something kinda interesting. I like quick doodles, but Im getting the urge to draw something epic. I've said that before though ;)

Heading South
So, during my last post I mentioned how I had this idea in my head for a scene involving a wicked steam train blasting out of a tunnel from Hell. Today I started sketching some ideas for how I am going to put this thang together. Here is a possible idea sketch for just the tunnel. I think it needs more pointy things. It just doesnt look evil enough for Hell. Ill come up with some other options.

Oh my...
It's always the cute quiet one you have to worry about.
So I had this great idea for a killer drawing this afternoon. I wanted to paint a steam train coming out of the "Tunnel to Hell" and crossing over a burning track in the middle of a volcano. Then I thought "um, well I only have about 2 hours until my wife and son come home". So instead, I drew this little jelly bean looking thing eating a pile of man-sludge-whatsit. I still plan on painting my hell train, the idea was just a bit too ambitious for my afternoon.

Fishies!
This is a drawing I've been working on for the past couple days on and off. I got the idea from a video I saw on the Kuroshio Sea, the second largest aquarium in the world. I know, I know, my depiction isn't NEARLY as beautiful. I intended it to be a lot more busy and bursting with life....then I got sick of looking at it. I may finish it one day, if I'm ever bored and decide to paint some extra fish. That's the great thing about a drawing like this, I can just keep adding to it and re-posting it. Hopefully I'll stay with it and this will turn into the ever evolving piece. Piece of 'what' is yet to be determined :)

Hothead
Things have been a bit nuts lately so I havent had much of a chance to draw, but alas, tonight I found some spare time. It was in between the couch cushions. Who knew.
This drawing is kinda bunk and was done supah quick, but in the spirit of keeping this blog updated somewhat periodically, I figured, what the hell...

Squidward Tentpoles
If anyone is as lame as me and watches Spongebob Squarepants, you will get the title. Anway, this is a quick sketch I did in class, come to think of it, most of these were done in class, guess I learned lots. I finally got my hands on a Wacom tablet and this was the first drawing I had that I attempted to paint in Photoshop. The result is the next post, which you would have had to scroll by to be reading this, so actually, Im telling you crap you already know.
Some Architectural Sketches
Dunce!
This daft fellow is a member of the "13 Kevin's" social club. I had planned on creating a 13 part series of drawings depicting each of the 13 slamming into some type of building material, concrete, brick, heavy timbers, glass, bullet proof tigers, anything really. It may still come to pass some day.
Tower of Scribble
The Defeat of Stratholme
Take a Rock, Leave a Rock
This lug is dragging a big-ass rock. To where? Who the hell knows, but inevitably when he gets to his destination he will be told to go back and get another one. At some point, he will get fet up with this crap and smash his master with that giant hammer. That gives me an idea for another drawing...
